From punk bands to leading roles

From punk bands and Mohawks, to an Australian children’s musical group, Hi-5, actor and singer, Chris White has done it all.

Chris, 32, was raised in Toowoomba and referred to his family of five and the surrounding community as, “awesome”.

“It’s a tight-knit community with so many amazing people who are passionate about it,” he said.

Son of a church minister and an occupational therapist, Chris said he was always surrounded by music.

“I grew up singing in church,” he said.

“In my teenage years I thought I was a punk and was constantly starting bands with my school friends.

“I even cut my hair into a massive mohawk at one stage,” he laughed.
