There’s a live music venue in the heart of Ipswich, Studio 188, on Brisbane Street.
Formerly the art-deco-era Baptist Church, the music spot had been mostly quiet for the past pandemic year.
But, if you walked past on a previous Saturday, you would have been able to hear Selfish Sons play one of their best shows yet.
The Brisbane rock trio consisting of guitarist Jonty Carlson, 21, lead singer, Jordan Polbodetto and drummer Finn Polbodetto, 21, played after Ipswich act Damien Johnson and Gold Coast artist Ella Fence.
