A MAN was treated for shock and smoke inhalation after a shed to the rear of a Mount French Road property caught alight around 10am today.

It is understood the shed was used for storage but it's unclear what started the fire.

Three fire engines, two ambulance and multiple police vehicles were on scene and the road was closed to traffic at the corner by Boonah Carrying Company.

Multiple fire brigade personal were on scene trying to contain the blaze that as of 11.20am was still going strong.
