Queensland Police have issued a Public Safety and Preservation Act declaration, warning people to avoid areas affected by the ongoing bushfire.
The area includes Mt French Road, Franks Road, Doman Road, Kents Pocket Road, Frenches Creek Road and Crepin Road.
Police are advising the public to avoid the area pictured in the map.

QFES have upgraded the bushfire alert to an EMERGENCY WARNING - SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY - for residents on properties between Mt French Road, Sommers Road and Frenches Creek Road including Schubel Road.
Water bombing aircraft and multiple Rural Fire Brigade Crews and Auxiliary Brigade Crews are currently at the scene.
It is understood that a shed and some outbuildings have been lost to the blaze.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services have issued a bushfire WATCH and ACT warning for the Mount French locality (near Boonah).
The warning area takes in properties between Mount French Road, Sommers Road and Frenches Creek Road including Schubel Road.

Water bombing aircraft are on they way to assist auxiliary and rural fire brigades fighting a bushfire in the vicinity of Schubel Road at Frenches Creek near Mt French.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services were called to the vegetation fire at 12.15pm.
The fire is being pushed by erratic winds through the grass paddocks.
Currently there are two Auxiliary Fire Brigade trucks and four Rural Fire Brigade crews at the scene. Three more Rural Fire Crews are also on the way.
