New role excitement for go getter Greta

A MULTI-million-dollar stadium needs a dynamic event manager and Teviot Park has that in Greta Stanfield.
Ms Stanfield said she had already started in her role as event manager and was excited by the prospect of coordinating large, dynamic happenings.
“I am very excited by the potential this event precinct has for the Boonah and Scenic Rim region, it is going to bring so much life and events to the area,” she said.
“It will bring new events to Boonah because the stadium has been designed with accessibility in mind.
“It’s an open type stadium, so it will have a country type feel to it.
“We have exciting plans for our opening event, we can’t tell you what we are planning but it is going to be amazing!”
She said her position was newly created and put her in charge of administrative marketing, risk assessment as well as booking systems and plans that will enable Teviot Park to run efficiently and safely.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       “I have also been tasked with creating the Teviot Park identity and ensuring everything is in place when it finally opens to the public,” she said.
Ms Stanfield is Boonah born and bred and said she was one of the last babies born at the local hospital.
“Events are my passion as are horses and agriculture, so I have always been interested in doing this kind of thing,” she said.
“I’m a part of the subcommittee that runs the Clydesdale Spectacular, I’ve worked for RM Williams, and I have done a lot of work on various events over the past decade so I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in and putting Teviot Park on the map.”
