Each week, the Fassifern Guardian publishes articles on the known development applications in the Scenic Rim and subsequent approvals or rejections by Council.
The ‘unknowns’ are also covered by this newspaper - those applications which are uploaded to the Council’s planning portal and linger there without the accompanying documents until they are ‘deemed’ to have been ‘properly made’.
Developments falling into that category this week are:
• ARATULA – withdrawn - application for an extension to the currency for an approved development for bulk landscape supplies, service station, transport depot and warehouse on a 5ha lot off Charlwood Road by Dennis Hughes Holdings Pty Ltd and LJ Hughes Holdings Pty Ltd.
• BEAUDESERT – application for a low impact industry (pre-delivery and outdoor storage of vehicle at 62-66 Enterprise Drive by Enhance Urban Planning.
• BEAUDESERT – a Minor Change application for a June 2023 approval to subdivide 76ha at 28 Alice Street by Beaudesert Land Partners Pty Ltd.
• BEAUDESERT – application for multiple dwellings (impact) on the 6.27ha block at 10 Oakland Way (corner of Oakland Way and Beaudesert Nerang Road) by Robinson Project Holdings.
• BEAUDESERT – application for a subdivision on the 6.27ha block at 10 Oakland Way (corner of Oakland Way and Beaudesert Nerang Road) by Robinson Project Holdings.
• CANUNGRA - application for an extension of time for an approved 12 lot subdivision of the 10.1ha property at Lot 3 Beaudesert Nerang Road by Wolf Yun Miao and Hsueh Yu Hou.
• CANUNGRA – application for a tourist attraction at 17 Colvin Road by YBW Investments Pty Ltd.
• FRAZERVIEW – application for a subdivision by Kalfresh Pty Ltd which involves five properties with a total area of around 191ha beside the Cunningham Highway and taking in the Scenic Rim Agricultural and Industrial Precinct.
• KALBAR – extension of time for the approval of a 1 into 5 lot subdivision granted in 2013 over a 14.5ha property at 19 Edward Street by Richard Gorman.
• LAMINGTON – application for a tourist park by K Hanson at 110 Barnes Road.
