St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital will be expanded in a project worth $40.5 million. 

The project, funded by Ramsay Health Care, will include two new operating theatres, 39 extra beds and expanded renal dialysis and radiology services. 

Construction on the new development will begin late this year and is due for completion in June 2023.

CEO Claire Thurwood said the expansion was great news for Ipswich residents. 

“Ipswich is one of the fastest growing areas in Australia so it makes sense that residents should be able to access the full suite of medical care close to home,” she said.
