The Kooralbyn Valley Resort has been confirmed by owner, Peter Huang, as the Olympic village for water sports for the 2032 Olympics.
Kooralbyn was listed as the potential location for a satellite village in the Olympic bid, with the main village to be formed in Brisbane.
After Brisbane was named as the hosts of the 2032 Olympics last Wednesday, details were scarce on where the Kooralbyn village would be located, but behind the scenes the cogs were in motion at the Valley estate.
Mr Huang said planning had been underway for months but was kept under strict embargo until Brisbane was officially awarded the games.
