Thieves have attempted to break into the Aratula State School and the Old Chirch B&B on Tuesday night.
Police are calling for the public to come forward with anything that might help with their investigation.
Senior Constable Chris Farnan said an unkown number of people attempted to break into the office at the Aratula State School and also attempted to break into the Old Church B&B sometime between 3.30am and 5.30am on Tuesday night.
"We're hoping that someone may have noticed a vehicle or an individual, or possibly more than one, acting suspiciously in the town and particularly near those properties in Elizabeth Street and will be willing to pass on any information via Policelink or Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000."
Boonah Police are asking anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the vicinity of Elizabeth Street, Aratula, in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday) to contact Policelink (131 444) or Crimestoppers as soon as possible.
