FASSIFERN tennis enthusiast Maz Verrall and her Krause Krusaders celebrated a victorious effort at the Beaudesert and District Tennis Association courts last Saturday night.
“It was such an amazing result,” Maz said, sharing the success with playing partner David Spann and Fassifern husband and wife team Jon and Kit Krause.
Jon is the Member for Scenic Rim.
“We ended up playing about 12 matches and we won every single one throughout the Fast 4 tournament,” Maz said.
The Scenic Rim quartet (pictured) showcased their racquet abilities among the nine teams involved in the rapid-fire format.
“David was just really going last night – he’s a special kind of bloke,” Maz said.
“Jon played out of his skin. I couldn’t believe what he was doing.
“So happy.”
Maz also raised more than $2100 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation at the annual community charity event.
Maz appreciated all the generous contributions.
“I’m absolutely stoked,” she said.
