Over the first weekend in June, thousands of visitors to the Brisbane Caravan and Camping Supershow ‘clamoured’ for information and brochures about the Scenic Rim.

A team from the new Destination Scenic Rim tourism organisation worked side by side with a Tamborine Mountain Chamber of Commerce team to hand out brochures and discuss the many opportunities to explore the region. 

Tamborine Mountain Chamber of Commerce committee member Judi Minnikin said the region could expect more caravanners. 

“We can expect strong growth in tourism numbers across the Scenic Rim following the success of the show,” she said.
