UPDATE 2:
The Boonah Beaudesert Road is now open and no longer under traffic control.
UPDATE: 2.50pm - Police are hoping to have one lane of the Boonah Beaudesert Road open, and under traffic control by soon after 3.00pm.
The timing is dependent on the successful recovery of the trucks by the tow trucks which are now on site.
EARLIER: Boonah Beaudesert Road will be closed for some hours this morning (Wednesday) following an accident involving two trucks.
Boonah Police received a call out to the accident on Crow Creek Bridge near the sandstone quarry at 7.30am this morning
Currently, (8.30am) emergency services personnel are working to free one of the drivers from his truck.
The other driver is understood to have escaped injury.
Sgt Peter Boyce said it is likely to be some hours before the Boonah Beaudesert Road is open but they plan to begin a ‘contra flow’ with one lane open as soon as it is safe to do so.
